Dear Pierre,
Sorry I didn't e-mail you sooner. I received the case the day before I had to drive to Bloomington for my first trip with the new gamba. It was perfect ! The fit is wonderful and I will send you pictures when I get back to Ann Arbor tomorrow. I know most of your cases open at the half-way point but I really like that the entire lid opens on this one. It makes it very easy to get the gamba in and out. It was a little tight at first but even after two days, it's starting to slide in much easier.
The scroll has plenty of room and the tailpiece fits perfectly !

I just finally had a chance to open my cello case box. The case is BEAUTIFUL! I love it so much. My cello fits beautifully! The new wheel system is awesome! I'm so happy to have this new case after all of these years! I'm sure this new one will do it's job beautifully for many years to come!

I meant to write to you, but things have been quite busy. I have flown twice with it already, and although the TSA(the people who check the bags for weapons) removed some of the velcro straps, the contrabassoon made it safely both trips!! Thank you so much!
It fits with plenty of room, but I think because it is light aluminum, it's safer with the extra space around it.
Thank you for checking on it, and for making a wonderful case. We will be contacting you in the near future when my daughter needs a cello case.

The cases came today. They look fantastic! Niccolo left for his music festival before they arrived, so we won't be able to try out the gamba cases until August. The cello fits perfectly, as the picture shows. The workmanship is wonderful. I'm so glad we went with Rouillard.

The case arrived safely in Ottawa and I am delighted with it. Case and gamba survived the Air Canada flight to Vancouver.
Although they would not let me gate check it and it was the first time I have had to send it as baggage, it all worked out.

The case arrived today, and it is beautiful! It also fits the cello perfectly! We all love it. I am still surprised at how light it is, even with the cello inside. And of course our six-year old son was thrilled with the secret compartments. Now we can actually look forward to our flight without worrying about the cello. Merci beaucoup!
